Craig and Susan's Visit to Guam

Chamorro Village

We took Craig and Susan to Chamorro Village on their first evening in Guam. They got a taste of the local culture and got to try out the local food.

Thanksgiving Day

We spent Thanksgiving morning at Tanguisson Beach.

Sporting our new aprons! Excuse my hair, I wasn't quite ready for the day yet.

Thanksgiving dinner.....this is one of our most memorable Thanksgivings :).

Weekend at the Hyatt

Craig and Susan treated us to a stay at the Hyatt in Tumon Bay. We spent the weekend lounging by the beach, kayaking, snorkeling, and eating. Trent rarely gets more than one day off at a time, so this really was a nice relaxing vacation for all of us.

Cetti Bay

On Sunday we went to the UOG farm and picked some guava, star fruit, calamansi so Craig and Susan could taste some of the local fruit. In the afternoon we drove around the southern part of Guam.

Lucky Strike Fishing Trip

On Monday we went on a fishing charter to do some deep sea fishing. We caught 3 Mahi Mahi, 2 Wahoo, 5 Skip Jack Tuna's, and 1 Barracuda. We had a little bit of rain off and on, but the weather was good for majority of the trip. There were times when the fishing was a little slow, but even then it was so nice being out on the water, we even saw some Pilot Whales. We had plenty of fish to take home. We cooked some up on the grill for dinner and also gave some away to our friends and neighbors. It really was an awesome day, and so cool to be able to be on a boat and see Guam from a different perspective. Guam may have its quirks but it really is a beautiful island.

Thank you Craig and Susan for coming to Guam to spend Thanksgiving with us, it really means the world to us. We could not have thought of a better way to spend this holiday, this is one that we will remember forever.....
