Trent's new hobby
Top O' the Mar
This is what happens when you live in Guam, the humidity fogs up the camera lens.
Much better!
Trent has been planting and growing seeds in my spare time as I have mentioned in previous blogs. The plants are doing really well, I am actually surprised at how fast these plants are growing. I am sure it has something to do with the climate here and of course a lot to do with Trenton's green thumb.
Auntie Bernice came to visit! Bernice is Trent's step dad's cousin's wife. She now lives in California but was raised in Guam and her father and sister still live here. She was in town to help take care of her dad as well as to attend a mass for her mother who passed away five years ago. She invited us to attend the mass and to go to dinner at Top O' the Mar for dinner afterwards. Top O' the Mare is at the top of Nimitz Hill and has an amazing view. We went back there again on Thursday night to have dinner with Berni and her family so that we could visit a little more before she leaves. The theme that night was Mongolian BBQ, they cook your food out on the patio overlooking an amazing sunset. Berni and her family are so nice and so welcoming, it really was a great night. We have been without our families for so long and it was so nice to finally spend some time with family.
Have I mentioned that it is REALLY hot and humid out here??
