Trent presented his proposal for his thesis on Friday afternoon, something he has been working really hard on since May. He did an awesome job, and passed of course and his advisor was very proud of him. Since he got that out of the way we were ready to start the weekend!
Trent's Birthday wasn't until Sunday, but we decided to celebrate it all weekend. I didn't get to spend his 26th birthday with him so we had to make up for it somehow. It started on Friday night we made dinner and I made him a gooey butter toffee cake for his birthday.

Craig and Susan bought tickets to the Katchafire concert at the Leo Palace Resort and also got us a room for the night for Trent's birthday. We met some friends at the concert, it was a really awesome concert and the best part was not having to drive all the way home after it was over
The next morning we had breakfast and headed to the pool to relax before we had to go check out. Katchafire ended up coming to the pool too and they sat down right under the same umbrella as us, so I had to ask them to take a picture with Trent. It was a perfect end to a perfect weekend!
