BBQ At The Beach
New Car
Our friend Paciano befriended a Korean tourist and decided to show him a little island hospitality and have a BBQ at the beach. It was one of the few evenings we had with perfect weather. There was just enough cloud cover to make it nice and comfortable and it also made for a really pretty sunset.
Our moped has been really unreliable since we bought it. We have put twice as much money into that thing than it is worth, and with rainy season it has made it difficult for Trent to get to work lately. This week we bought a 2004 Hyundai Accent, it is nothing special but we are hoping it will be a good car for us until we leave next year. We have never owned a Hyundai before and now we have two! Hyundai's just happen to be one of the few reasonably priced cars out here, used cars in Guam are really overpriced for their year and quality. We are pretty excited about this new car, I never realized how nice it is to have two cars. It is amazing how much we take for granted. Hopefully the weather cooperates with us so we can take a mini road trip down south on Sunday and test out our new little car.
